Feed Subscriptions
The Magpie Recraft Fair this weekend was brief, but fun. I was inspired to turn some of my random junk into something useful. I definitely want to make map magnets similar to the ones pictures above. I was going to buy some, but I have a map I’ve been meaning to replace, so it would be perfect for the project.
I was discussing LiveJournal RSS feeds with Justin this weekend. For some reason, I thought I was able to view friends-only posts in LJ with Google Reader, but it turns out you can’t. I believe I was able to do that with my previous aggregator, Vienna. Vienna has a built-in browser feature that allows you to log into certain feeds that are password protected or require you to watch a preview, like Salon articles. I’ve been missing out on some posts when I just figured there just wasn’t much going on in LJ land.
I’m still awaiting some sort of response from EP Farms. I’ve already switched hosting servers, but I’m still trying to re-register my domain with another company. I don’t like the idea of bashing a non-profit group who provides a dirt cheap service, but don’t ever use EPFarms… their customer service is non-existent and their features never work.
